We are all a combination of selves. Whether through ethnic heritage, dreams and aspirations, our secret self and public persona, family member or inner sprite, the face we present to the world may either reveal or hide our various selves. Hybrid Identity invites artists to weave into a single work either their own worlds of self, or, taking it up to a larger scale, who we are as a nation.
January 18 – February 26 with an opening Reception on Thursday, January 20.
Artwork is still being accepted. Submission dates are Friday and Saturday, January 14 and 15. This is a juried show open to CAL members and non-members. Artists may submit two works for consideration. Entry fees (per person, not per work) are $15 for members and $25 for non-members.
