The District is looking for a few good interns. Specifically, we're hiring interns in the area of public policy and strategic communication.
Internships are typically unpaid and many of our interns have received class credit for the time they work. Although every job has it's dull side, we're not interested in bringing someone in to make copies or file paperwork. We like to give interns responsibility over a project--something they can do from start to finish and that would be suitable for inclusion in a portfolio or that would make a great example during a job interview.
