Bike-share systems are popping up across the nation from Washington DC to Chattanooga, TN and we'd like to see if one would work here in CoMo.
Bike-share systems are a network of automated stations with high quality bikes that can be checked out with a membership card and/or credit card and checked back in at any station. The system is designed provide safe and convenient transportation for short trips (less than 3 miles or about 30 minutes).
A handful of local organizations--the city, the colleges, Columbia Public Schools, PedNet, The District and others--want to know if you would use a bike-share system, how much you would pay, and what you would use for.
