Water line construction project on Locust
On Tuesday, June 28 and Wednesday, June 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Columbia Water & Light will be installing a new 8-inch water line on Locust Street at Providence Road. The end of Locust Street will be closed to motorists. From Providence, drivers will not be able to turn on to Locust. Those heading west on Locust Street will need to use Elm Street or Broadway to access Providence Road. There will be access to businesses at this intersection.
