MU Summer Repertory Theatre presents “The 39 Steps” at 2 p.m. today and 7:30 p.m. Friday. The company also presents “Chicago” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Saturday and 2 p.m. next Sunday.
All performances are at the Rhynsburger Theatre on the MU campus. Single tickets for “Chicago” are $18, $16 for seniors; single tickets to “The 39 Steps” are $15, $13 for seniors. Season tickets are $28, $24 for seniors. Additionally, the MU Theatre Department presents “The Book of Adam,” the first of two Comedies-in-Concert, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Corner Playhouse on the MU campus. Written by Matt Fotis, the award-winning work follows “a public relations executive” who “is on the brink of losing his job, family and beloved crab apple tree. As luck would have it though, his father just might be God, and Adam might just have a higher calling.”
