The Museum of Art and Archaeology, 106 Pickard Hall on the University of Missouri campus, will screen the 1959 film “Some Like It Hot” at 7 tonight as part of its regular free film series.
Director Billy Wilder’s film centers on two musicians, Joe and Jerry (Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon), who witness a mob massacre. In an attempt to escape the gangsters responsible, they disguise themselves as women and join an all-female band on its way to Miami.
