Theatre NXS presents “Darkpool” and “The Voice Folk” at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday at Berlin Theatre, 220 N. Tenth St.
These plays are both world premieres by writer Don Nigro; in “Darkpool,” Nigro asks what would happen if “an honest rookie” was “caught up in something like the Blackwater shooting incident?” In the latter, “Old Mother Heck, the witch of Armitage, warns us not to go in them woods. But why?”
