Citizen Jane Film Festival

Mark your calendars now for September 30th to October 2nd when filmmakers and film lovers from around the world converge upon our small Midwestern town of Columbia, Missouri every fall to celebrate films made by women, engage in lively discussions, attend one-of-a-kind parties and experience what many (both male and female alike!) consider to be the most intimate and interesting new festival in the country.

Some offerings include:

• “Somewhere Between” (2010, director Linda Goldstein Knowlton) 

• “Bob and the Monster” (2011, director Keirda Bahruth) 

• “A Wake” (2009, director Penelope Buitenhuis) 

• “Southern Belle” (2010, directors Kathy Conkwright and Mary Makley) 

Venues this year are Windsor Auditorium, Charters Auditorium, Ragtag Cinema,the Missouri Theatre Center for the Arts and even the “Rustic Ring” at the Stephens Stables Arena.
