"The Pardoners" Showing at Ragtag

Burnt Bridge Films will hold a public screening of its recently completed film “The Pardoners” at 11 a.m.
Saturday at Ragtag Cinema, 10 Hitt St. The 17-minute short is the basis for a television series to be shot in Columbia this fall. Admission is free, and after the screening, the cast and crew will host a question-and-answer session. The film was written, produced and directed by local filmmaker Brian Maurer, includes members of the community and is based on “The Pardoner’s Tale” by Geoffrey Chaucer.
