Missouri Contemporary Ballet presents “Evoke” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Missouri Theatre Center for the Arts, 203 S. Ninth St.
Each performance will present a mixed repertoire, including five world premieres by national guest choreographers, tenured artists in residence and MCB’s artistic director. The audience also will enjoy two pieces from the company’s repertoire, including a fan favorite, “Twisted,” based off the game Twister. “Evoke” transforms seven different worlds of feeling through each piece, with displays of athleticism, joy, heartbreak and pure art.
