Traffic on Tenth Street will be restricted from 9:30 a.m. this morning to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 23, due to an underground electric line project. Tenth Street will be closed from Elm to Locust while Columbia Water & Light completes necessary construction. Electric crews will run a new high voltage underground service that will feed the apartment complex at 308 South Ninth Street. Motorists will be rerouted from Tenth street during this construction. East/west traffic on Elm will not be affected by the Tenth Street closure. No electric service disruptions are expected.
